Recruitment 2008
Dear Potential New Members,
Thank you for your interest in Kappa Delta! We're eagerly looking forward to the start of
the fall semester and the 2008 Panhellenic Recruitment, as well as the addition of
another fabulous pledge class to our membership.
The Panhellenic community here at Carolina is comprised of intelligent, motivated, and
generous women, and we are proud to support and be a part of an organization that does so much to unify strong women on the Carolina campus. We're proud to contribute to the
success of Panhellenic through our academic achievements, our focus on the leadership and community involvement of our members, and our prioritization of philanthropic activities.
Our Shamrock 'n’ Run 5k is our major annual service project, and this year's 5k raised
more than $42,000, exceeding even our own previous successes. At the 2008 Greek Awards we were honored for the second year in a row with Outstanding Philanthropic Event, as well as several other awards marking our success in scholarship and service. We view membership in our chapter as a way to give back to the Carolina community that we love, but we also see it as a way to build and maintain strong friendships that will last us beyond our four years as Tar Heel students.
Please look at the rest of our website to learn more about our chapter, and don't forget
to visit UNC's Greek Affairs website to register for Panhellenic Recruitment 2008. We
look forward to seeing you on the KD porch in August!
